The resort is lovely and the boutiquey hotel very cute and almost on the slopes. Great boot room service and spa facilities. Would be good to have a pool table/ sport tv for the kids/teens of which there will always be a lot in ski resorts. Food ok but rooms very good. Just don't stay in rooms 229/230 - they are directly above the delivery area so we were woken EVERY morning (4-5am) by lorries! Overall, very good value for money for an expensive resort.

Super hotel. Good breakfast and dinners, close to the slopes and comfortable rooms. The photos on the website don't deceive. We would stay there again. The spa facility (swimming pool, sauna and steamroom) was excellent. While we paid the supplement for a south facing room we were shown to a north facing room (very little natural light) and told there was no such thing as a supplement and, in any case, no other rooms were available. Only two nights later was the rep able to convince the hotel that we should be moved to a south facing room. Other negatives - the double bed had two single mattresses on a double frame; the mattreses inevitably slipped apart. And there was no vanity mirror in the room. The one in the bathroom obviously couldn't be used while using a personal hairdyer. The bar was very comfortable with a relaxing atmosphere, though the same duo played music (and the same et) in the evening throughout the week. Some of the staff were exceptionally helpful and really made the stay very enjoyable. We would definitely stay there again. Though I've mentioned negatives, correcting these minor things would really make a stay there perfect. And compared to the other hotels we've looked at in Val d'Isere the Aigle was chic. The Ingahms rep - Amanda - was very good. She didn't bother us, but was active and determined when we needed her to be. The only big negative from the holiday was the coach for the leg from Meutiers to Geneva airport. the seat pitch was very cramped and made the journey quite unpleasant.
