Hotel Chalet des Alpes Reviews
We stayed in the first week of January - it is a lovely hotel, in a great genuine ski in ski out location, staffed by really friendly and professional people. It is a real Italian hotel, that serves traditional Italian four course dinner, with so much choice that even as someone who doesn't eat red meat, it was a real treat and a credit to the hotel. Pila has fantastic pistes with excellent cafes and restaurants; you could spend allot, but you certainly don't have to. There isn't allot to do in the evening, but if you've made the most of the pistes you will want an early night to get up the next day and do it all again. There are away days to La Thuile and Courmayour, and the drive up the Aosta Valley was worth seeing, only 45 mins, to the other resorts. We have been on lots of ski hols but Pila is a resort we will come back to - its great
