Chalet Alber, St Anton
Chalet Alber is located in Nasserein, the most family-friendly area of St Anton, about 15-20 minutes stroll from St Anton centre. It is only approximately 10 minutes walk from the high-speed and normally queue-free gondola, which whisks you straight into the heart of the ski area at Gampen/Kapall, but if you dont fancy the walk, the free ski-bus stops conveniently just 50m away. The Alber is a spacious chalet, comprising two accommodation styles in a V-shaped layout with the two wings separated by a small courtyard, as you can see from our photo opposite. Several rooms were re-fitted by the owner last winter to maximise convenience for our family guests.
The main Alber building features a good standard of chalet accommodation in traditional Alpine style, with comfortable family suites and bedrooms, all with private facilities and cable TV, and many will also take a cot. This building also houses the Albers attractive dining-room and lounge, the latter comprising two rooms connected through an archway, with plenty of seating, a TV, CD player, and access to a large, sunny south-facing balcony.
Just across the small forecourt is the newer, traditionally styled building shared with Chalet Alisea. On the ground floor of this wing the Alber offers two apartments, each ideal for an individual family, and sharing all the communal facilities of the Alber. Each has a small kitchenette, where guests can prepare their own breakfasts from ingredients we daily supply fresh to your door, whilst all other meals are taken in the main building.
Our baby-listening patrol is available to guests in the Courtyard apartments from 7pm until 10.30pm, so that parents can relax and enjoy a leisurely dinner.

Meals - Chalet Alber, St Anton
Breakfast: A good breakfast is essential on a ski holiday, so we provide a choice of cereals or porridge, fruit juices, plentiful tea and coffee, local bread (and croissants or ‘pains au chocolat’ in France), cold meats, cheeses and preserves, and boiled eggs. This is normally presented buffet-style for you to help yourself. Additionally we offer a daily hot dish, such as scrambled eggs with mushrooms or home-made pancakes.
Additionally we are delighted to be offering our guests in France the opportunity to sample the re-packaged and re-styled muesli from Jordans, their Fruit & Nut Muesli. This fruit & nut recipe is packed with 50% fruit, nuts & pumpkin seeds. Raw British wholegrain oats & barley are blended with crispy toasted wheat flakes for a balanced cereal base, while whole nuts, pumpkin seeds & coconut add a crunchy layer, ending in a juicy finale of sweet flame raisins & tropical fruit.
Afternoon tea: The traditional ‘welcome home’ after a day on the slopes will be laid out for you by your chalet host, ready for your return. A good cup of tea or coffee is the perfect accompaniment to a delicious slice of freshly home-baked cake.
Children’s High Tea : Served at around 5.30pm and supervised by our staff, high tea provides children under 13 with a healthy menu, but tailored more towards children’s tastes than our main adult dinner. We offer an alternative choice for High Tea in all our Chalet Hotels. In the same way that parents are asked to select their evening’s choices at breakfast time, children will be offered alternative choices including home-made healthy options as well as standard children’s favourites.
Puréed food is available for infants on request. Parents are asked to accompany children under 36 months, whilst children 3-12 years will be supervised by staff.
Children under 13 are not allowed to join the adult-only dinner.
Culinary Choice Dinner: comprise five courses, with a choice of menu for your enjoyment. Adults will be asked to choose their evening meals at breakfast for that evening from a choice of varied dishes selected for each course, accompanied of course by our complimentary wines
