Snow Conditions in Sweden (06 March 2014)
Light snow fell at many Norwegian resorts earlier this week before the skies cleared on Thursday 6th March. Good skiing and boarding can be found from top to bottom at Hemsedal (170/180cm). The temperature was hovering around freezing at the base of the ski area so it’s not cold, but the snow is still in great condition.
A few centimetres of fresh snow fell at both our Swedish resorts too. Are (45/61cm) and Salen (90/122cm) both have great snow at the moment, with more spring-like snow lower down due to the higher temperatures. Both resorts are also fully open so there is a lot of skiing on offer in Sweden at the moment.
