Situated along the Heidsee valley and the lake of the same name, Graubünden's Lenzerheide is a picturesque ski resort. Lenzerheide may be a lesser-known resort but after the launch of a new cable car linking the area with Arosa in December 2013 and creating a new area spanning 225km, it may not be such a secret for much longer. The resort has a number of bars and restaurants to keep visitors entertained in the evenings, as well as sledging runs and cafes for afternoon entertainment. There are 225 km of pistes in total across the Lenzerheide and Arosa areas with options to suit all abilities. The off-piste is even more extensive, and tends to remain untracked for days due to the quietness of the area. There is a large selection of blue runs above Lenzerheide while intermediates should head towards Arosa for more red pistes. There are also 56km of cross-country ski trails leading over the lake and through the forest, a 4km floodlit trail at Lantsch/Lenz, 8 natural ice curling rinks, tobogganing slopes at Obervaz and indoor swimming pool.

"Just home from Christmas in Val d'Isere... this was the best ski holiday I have ever been on. Val is stunning, the hotel fabulous, staff sensational and skiing out of this world. We booked through Iglu. They were fantastic. Peter had great ski knowledge, offered advice and went the extra mile. " - Pamela (Dec 2015)
