Verbier, Switzerland Ski Resort

Verbier sits in a sunny, well sheltered spot. The resort is built in traditional style, with impressive views of the surrounding mountains. Verbier is a resort for the fashionable and cosmopolitan. Veysonnaz is the most attractive of the satellite resorts, but they all have a good range of facilities including bars, cafés, restaurants and sport centres etc and are ideal for families who do not need the pulsating nightlife of a Verbier skiing holiday, but are still looking for excellent Verbier skiing. Les Collons is linked with Thyon 2000 and has its own ski and snowboarding school. Ski school is good in all the resorts and children well provided for. Verbier’s après ski is legendary with its nightclubs and some 60 restaurants. Veysonnaz and Les Collons also have their fair share of things to do.

Verbier is home to some of the most challenging skiing in the Alps. There is a fantastic variety of tough reds and exhilarating blacks from intermediates and advanced, and with few draglifts in the local area and a great terrain park at La Chaux, snowboarders fell very much at home! Over 100 lifts take skiers around the 400km of pistes.
