Chalet Waterloo Reviews
We loved everything about our holiday except the distance and time it took for us to get to the slopes. Our chalet is high up on the hill and for several days the small lift down to the stair lift to go up the other side was not working . There was far too much walking with heavy skis and boots which we found exhausting . the wait for the bus up to Le Lac was sometimes 20 minutes- 30 minutes which again added to an awfully long journey to actually get to the upper slopes to ski. Our chalet host , George, was amazing and his cooking excellent , the chalet itself very comfortable but for the excessive walking and time taken before we could actually ski each morning we would not go to this resort again - or- if we did we would stay in Le lac . We were too tired to use the Apres Ski but we did eat out on our hosts day off which was very nice. With such good food and wine we didn't feel the need to eat out much .
