Chalet Terrachu has a lovely lakeside position in Tignes le Lac and offers fantastic views across the lake to Val Claret. The bar, lounge, restaurant and public areas were completely refurbished for winter 06/07 and the chalet benefits from close proximity to the ski lifts and the resort centre. The rooms are simple but comfortable and all offer fabulous lake side views. Club Hotel Terrachu - sleeps 28-32 (room numbers shown in brackets):
- Ground floor: Entrance hallway leading onto the reception and the bar. Lounge and fireplace. Dining room with views over the frozen lake.
Two superior refurbished interconnecting bedrooms on the ground floor each with a separate external entrance and ideal for family groups who wish to take both rooms. One bedroom sleeps four with a double bed, a single bed and a single sofa bed with private bath & WC (10). Next door is a twin bedroom (11) with private bath & WC and room for a cot (the interconnecting door is locked when different groups take these rooms). - First floor: A choice of twin bedrooms each with private bathroom, WC and some with an enclosed 'conservatory style' balcony and lake views.
Small quad bedroom with a double and bunk beds and a private bathroom with WC (8). The 'conservatory style' balconies are actually closed in balconies with large windows that can be opened.
At one end of the hotel is a small turret which contains circular bedrooms with excellent views. - Turret first floor: One double bedroom with washbasin and private bathroom with WC on the corridor (12). Separate bathroom with WC.
