Overall

This was our first trip to Canada and not being keen on the longer hauls felt this was manageable. We flew from Heathrow with Air Canada and have no complaints flight was on time we were given enough in the way of refreshments and the landing over the St lawrence river was brill. Transfer fine and the hotel was all we hoped for. Pleasant staff quiet location and a good breakfast to set you up for the day. The room had some cooking facilities and table and chairs so we ate in a couple of evening. We didn't use all the facilities but found the ski valet service was a big plus. My husband and I are both pensioners and took up skiing late in life so do not want to be tearing down black runs so we found the gentler pistes brilliant and as it was so cold the snow was great to ski on. It is very very cold at the top of the lifts which we hadn't prepared for and the village is equally cold (windy). Take plenty of warm gear, we thought in March it would be warmer but not so. The people are lovely friendly helpful and polite not like some of the Europeans and the village is really nice. If you fancy a change from Europe Go for it!!

Apres Ski: 4/5
