Chalet Marmotte , Val D'Isere, France
Overwhelmed by demand for our little Chalet Daisy, we are delighted to be able to offer on selected dates an additional 3 bedroom/6 person chalet apartment. Situated in the Jardin Alpin Residence, ideally located on the slopes at the foot of Solaise. You can ski to/from the door via a flat path which takes you straight to the village nursery slopes, ski school, kindergarten and the main lifts. You can walk across the nursery slopes to the resort centre in approximately 10 minutes or there is a free mini bus service that operates during the day.
The Residence is being completely renovated and relaunched over the Summer of 2014 and in addition, will now include a spa with sauna and hammam for all Residence guests. The apartment will be refurbished and decorated in a modern style whilst maintaining the cosy ambience of a mountain residence!
Making the most of space, the duplex apartment is around 66 square metres and will have an open plan kitchen/living and dining area. The balcony is South facing with wonderful views over the Manchet Valley. Bedroom wise, there is a double room and two twin rooms.
Please note that internal photos are artists impressions of the design plans as the property is under current renovation, they are not specific to this particular apartment.

Meals - Chalet Marmotte, Val D'Isere
Chalets and chalet hotels offer a buffet selection of cereals, fresh fruit and yoghurts, freshly baked local bread and jams accompanied by fruit juices, tea and coffee. In addition there is a daily cooked option such as scrambled egg and tomato (not a full English!) served each day apart from the chalet staff day off and change over day. For the traditional skiers amongst you we can of course offer porridge on request!
On your return from the slopes, discuss the day's skiing with your fellow guests whilst helping yourself to afternoon tea. Bread and jam and a slice (or two) of delicious home-made cake or biscuits should help keep hunger pangs at bay until dinner time.
With the theme of a casual dinner party in mind, your chalet hosts serve a delicious 3 course meal at 8 p.m. giving you plenty of time to rest aching muscles and recuperate after your day skiing. House wine is available throughout dinner coffee to finish. Chalet staff always aim to please and if given notice will as much as possible adapt their menus to your specific tastes and dietary requests however we cannot provide vegan, kosher or gluten free meals and cannot guarantee a nut free environment.
We serve a house red and white wine in all of our chalets, a small wine list is available in your chalet should you wish to purchase additional wines or you can of course choose to purchase your own wines in resort.
We provide a child friendly supper at around 6pm for all children under 12years, if you have sole use of a chalet and you would prefer your children to eat a normal dinner with you at 8pm there is a fee to upgrade. For those in a shared chalet it is generally expected that under 12s would have the early supper
