Hotel Tschierv-Hirschen, Val Mustair, Switzerland
Hotel Tschierv-Hirschen
The building was built around the year 800 as a watch tower and rebuilt and renovated in 1974 after a disposition in 1613. The work was carried out under the patronage of the Preservation and Monumental Protection. In July 1969, the hotel was taken over by Otmar and Sonja Conrad-Fankhauser. In 1996, all the rooms were enlarged and equipped with showers, toilets, TV-TXT, Radio and new furnishings. However, the original old-pine paneled rooms were preserved yet the rooms are still friendly and welcoming.
