Chalet Montana is one of Verbier's finest and most stylish private homes. Refurbished in 2009 this vast property has been lavishly and painstakingly designed inside and out and adopts the latest in green technology. Reclaimed 17th century wood panelling, intricately carved 18th century beams and natural stones from the nearby Aosta valley have been used to great effect.

This spacious chalet has generous rooms throughout, befitting of such a grand property and a rarity now in Verbier. The 11 guests are accommodated in the seven bedrooms all of which have en-suite or private bath or shower rooms. Discreetly located above the Chemin de Clambin you can ski to the front door of the chalet which is within a short walk to the main lift station and the village centre. Surrounded by its own large gardens perfect for the children to play in the snow. Its elevated position also affords the chalet spectacular panoramic views.

The main reception rooms of the chalet are set out on the 1st floor. Stairs lead from the hall way to the lavishly furnished living room with open fire. Doors open onto an extensive balcony with breath-taking views of the surrounding peaks. A library with home cinema opens off of the living room and sliding doors lead to the beautiful wood panelled dining room comfortably seating 12.

The wonderful airy kitchen has been crafted in natural stones and antique woods and is equipped to the highest standards. The breakfast bar in the kitchen is a great place to hang out if you want to pick up a few tips from the chef. A second Swiss style breakfast dining room with television, seating 10 to 12, is a great venue for the kid's meals. A guest W.C. is also located on this floor next to the large entrance and cloakroom.

Stairs lead from the entrance hall to the top floor apartment with an impressive private master suite, office and sitting room and a further single bedroom and dressing room with shower.

The large master bedroom is set at the front of the chalet with a private balcony, real fire and wonderful views from the comfort of your bed. This has a comfortable and spacious bathroom finished in natural stones with large bath and separate shower area.

This top floor also houses a beautifully furnished private sitting room with fire place and a large study with private balcony. The perfect retreat for someone on a working holiday or craving a little quiet time to think.

A charming single bedroom (can be converted to a comfortable double bed) and an impressive dressing room with private shower room are located on the top floor as well.

Down from the reception floor there are located 5 bedrooms and the children's play area: 1 twin, 1 double, 1 bunk room sleeping two and 2 further single bedrooms. All of the bedrooms have either an en-suite or private bath or shower room featuring contemporary design and natural stone. In the 2 single bedrooms and the 2 person bunk room further pull out beds are available (suitable for children).

At the back of the chalet is located a fantastic kids playroom. This has a stage, table football, TV area and numerous board games. The room can also be converted into a small disco and has a bar area. There is a separate w.c. for this area.

The lower floor of the chalet contains a grand hallway entrance from the garage and an area with hammam, shower and W.C. located off a games room with ping pong table and boxing bag. This area can also be used as a massage room.

Also located on this lower floor is a large ski room with separate w.c.

Please note: a staff member lives in a private apartment located at the back of the property.

The chalet has 2 internal parking spaces in the underground garage and further 1 external parking space.

Breakfast
After waking up to tea or coffee in bed enjoy a hot breakfast served in the dining room with a selection of local yoghurts, Museli, cereals, fresh crusty bread and jams.
After skiing
After skiing you'll come back to afternoon tea where you can help yourself to tea, coffee, fresh bread, jams and delicious home baked cakes or something savoury if you would prefer.
Dinner
After a complimentary drink and canapés, a three course dinner will be served, followed by a local cheeseboard. Dinner is accompanied by a choice of complimentary wines.
Children
Chefs are very happy to prepare specific children's meals to your requirements. If you need their meals served before the normal meal times please do not hesitate to ask the staff prior to your arrival or once you arrive in the resort.
Day off
Chefs cook for you six days a week usually taking Wednesday off. We are happy to offer advice on the great restaurants we have here in Verbier and make a reservation for your group.
