Best Après-Ski and Nightlife Hotspots in Pas de la Casa

Best Après-Ski and Nightlife Hotspots in Pas de la Casa

Pas de la Casa is part of Andorra’s biggest ski area, the Grandvalira, and provides quick access to more than 210km of pistes.

It’s a hugely underrated ski area, and Pas de la Casa is definitely the main party town for it, with a range of bars and après-ski to go wild in, including both up the mountain and plenty down in town.

If you want a quieter experience in the Grandvalira, head for Soldeu or El Tartar - although there are lots of places for more peaceful pints in Pas de la Casa, too.

Keep reading for some of our top picks - and bear in mind there are plenty more options that we haven’t covered.

READ MORE: If you want another lively resort, but with more than 600km of slopes, then have a read of our guide to après-ski in Val Thorens.

Our must-visit après-ski bars and nightlife hotspots in Pas de la Casa are:

1. Coll Blanc KSB

2. Olympiades Inn

3. Red Lion

4. Paddy's Irish Bar

5. Milwaukee

6. Underground

7. Bilbord Nightclub

8. The Dubliner

9. KSB

The best bars for mountain partying

  • Coll Blanc KSB
  • Olympiades Inn

Probably the ski area’s most iconic building, the Coll Blanc KSB is a popular après spot that can be spotted a mile off in all directions thanks to its distinctive UFO shape.

It perches right on the summit of the first lift up (TSD6 chairlift) from Pas de la Casa town and has live DJs out on the sun terrace every day from about 3pm to 5pm. It also doubles up as a great lunch spot earlier on.

Because it’s all downhill to Pas de la Casa town, it attracts a lively crowd who can afford to party right until the end, since no lifts need to be taken afterwards. It’s also the only proper après spot right up in the mountains.

The run down is briefly a red, before it forks into two - a continuation of the same red, and a much easier blue which winds around at a more gentle gradient.

(You can also avoid the brief section of red by taking a rope tow up and around the other side of the TSD6 chairlift, continuing onwards along the flat, and eventually turning right down a blue - make sure you leave the Coll Blanc a bit early though, as the rope tow will stop at around 5pm - although double check on the day, in case it’s a bit earlier).

All of these runs eventually merge into a nice blue, and as you approach town, you’ll spot the Olympiades Inn on the left of the slope (see top picture), which is busy every day and scoops up most people coming down from the UFO.

Part of the Aparthotel Les Olympiades, there’ll be live DJs inside, with fire pits and plenty of dancing keeping people warm, while those wanting a chat spill out onto the slope outside.

It’s technically a slopeside après bar, although it’s just a 20-second ski down to the bottom - meaning non-skiers can easily walk up to it.

Best bars for keeping the night going - and live music!

  • The Red Lion
  • Paddy's Bar
  • Milwaukee

Once you’re done with those, you can head into town where The Red Lion awaits you.

This one’s designed like an English-style pub, so you know what to expect. There are various beers on tap, plenty of tables and corners to choose from among the wooden beam interior.

Music is always on, with a DJ putting on the bangers, while there are sometimes live music sets as well. There’s also a darts board and pool table.

Much the same could be said about Paddy’s Bar which is just a few minutes walk away - the major difference being it is an Irish bar, rather than an English one.

Expect lots of music - sometimes live - and a great atmosphere where everyone is having fun. Paddy’s also has an upstairs section with a pool table and table football.

To complete the set, there’s also an American-style bar - Milwaukee - which is a more unique option for the night. While the American interior and traditions are fun, this bar has a bit of a different vibe - expect dancing girls and waitresses walking around with trays of shots. If you’re not into that stuff, stick to The Red Lion or Paddy’s!

Best nightclubs for partying 'til the early hours

  • Underground
  • Bilbord Nightclub

Just across the road from The Red Lion pub, the Underground club (stylised like the London Tube) is a dark, cave-like space where you’ll find house, techno and disco music.

It opens very early, but things don’t really kick off until about midnight, and they last right into the night - 5am on Fridays and Saturdays!

It gets pretty packed and sweaty inside - if you’re looking for a sophisticated night out, don’t go here.

Instead, you might like Bilbord Nightclub, which puts on mainstream music and has a much nicer decor.

Best places for a more relaxed drink

  • Dubliner
  • KSB

TWhile there are plenty of quiet spots for a nice pint, the Dubliner is a good choice. It’s actually right next door to Paddy’s, but is known to be a quiet alternative to its exuberant neighbour - that being said, if Paddy’s is full, then you can expect some overflow.

It’s got a lovely wooden interior (just like Paddy’s) and plenty on tap, as well as a pool table upstairs.

KSB is a more unique choice. It’s actually where lots of Spanish-speaking skiers go, including many seasonaires (who tend to be from either Spain or South America).

It’s got a really friendly atmosphere with a pool table, good food late into the night - and vitally to some, no music, meaning you’re not leaning into your mates to hear them when chatting. You can find it nestled into the corner, near the Underground club (which you can’t really miss if you’re near it).

Best places to watch live sport

  • Paddy's
  • KSB

As always, there are probably lots more options, but we know Paddy’s and KSB do live sport.

Iglu Ski team member, Henry, went to Pas de la Casa in April 2025:

“Me and my mates are very much into football, and found the safest bet is probably Paddy’s for any English football. We watched Fulham v Crystal Palace in the FA Cup in there, and the manager also managed to get my beloved AFC Wimbledon onto one of the TVs for me.

“We also saw Argentina v Brazil in a World Cup qualifier, surrounded by lots of Argentines (and one Brazilian) in KSB, which was a funny experience.”
