Take a once in a lifetime trip to Saariselka village deep into the winter wonderland of Lapland. Stay in the Muotka Wilderness Lodge on the edge of the Urho-Kekkonen National Park where there is an extreme possibility of seeing the Northern Lights. Throughout your stay there is an array of activities to get stuck into such as husky, reindeer and snowmobile safaris as well as cross-country skiing. By night there are exclusive aurora hunts by snowmobile or a pulled sled.

NORTHERN LIGHTS ADVENTURE WEEKS
There are 2 options for the Northern Lights Adventure Weeks, in the first package you spend the full 7 days at Muotka and in the second package you can explore 2 destinations with 4 nights in Saariselka and 3 nights in Muotka.
Muotka 7 night adventure:
Day 1: Welcome
Staff to meet you at Kittila airport and drive to Muotka where you meet the guides, collect thermals and Aurora alert. Day 2: a 2 hour cross country skiing trip, then a 3 hour guided snowshoe trip after lunch. Evening search of the Northern lights by car.
Day 3: a shared snowmobile safari to a reindeer farm
Day 4: Optional activities and Aurora hunt
Day 5: Husky farm visit and a 2 hour husky-sled safari
Day 6: A day of leisure winter activities. Followed by a post-dinner visit to the Aurora camp by snowmobile-pulled sled.
Day 7: A day of winter activities. Choose to stay another night at the lodge or upgrade to the Aurora cabin for £59 per person by pre-booking.
Day 8: Flight to UK after breakfast
Muotka 7 night 2 centre adventure:
Spend 4 nights in Saariselka and 3 nights in Muotka
Day 1: Welcome
Staff to meet you at Kittila airport and drive to Saariselka with check in to Gielas Hotel or Holiday Club Hotel. Collect thermal clothing.
Day 2: Pre-booked learn to cross-country or downhill ski package lessons begin in the morning. Other activities on offer. There is an afternoon welcome meeting.
Day 3: Optional skiing/snowshoeing in the morning. 25 kms snowmobile safari afternoon or evening search for northern lights.
Day 4: Reindeer farm visit in the afternoon
Day 5: 7km husky safari. Transfer to Muotka Wilderness lodge in the early evening. After dinner option to upgrade to Aurora cabin for £59.
Day 6: A morning guided 3 hour snowshoe trek. After lunch there is a 2-3 hour cross-country ski trip. A post dinner search for the Northern Lights by car.
Day 7: Optional activities in the morning followed by a last visit to the Aurora camp by snowmobile-pulled sled.
Day 8: Flight to UK after breakfast
