Great Snow and Ski Deals

Great Snow and Ski Deals

After a week or so of snow combined with the great deals on offer at the moment, the late availability holidays are flying off the shelf.

As the snow held off for a few weeks, so did the late bookers, but now it has returned to deals are selling like hot cakes, so if you are thinking of a last minute ski holiday you need to get in quick or before the prices go up.

"Many skiers deliberately held off booking until they were certain of some new snow", said Adam Johnson, Igluski Sales Manager. "They always intended going skiing but just wouldn't commit because of the poor conditions. As a result, the operators have a lot of stock to shift. But the big snow falls over the weekend have given the market a welcome kick start and once the operators recoup the business they lost while people held off prices will rise.'

Val d’Isere, one of the most popular resorts with UK skiers, had 20cm of fresh snow on Sunday, more is expected and good conditions are virtually assured until the end of the season.

Tthis week's forecasts include 32cm in Avoriaz, 19cm in Meribel and 23cm in St. Anton. With the recent snowfall beginning to mimic the fantastic early season conditions we are staring at some great March and Spring skiing.

The late deals season has really kicked into gear, though with 2-4-1 deals on offer and great conditions on the horizon they won't be around for long. If the snow keeps falling expect availability to lesson and prices to rise.
