I’m a Celebrity… Get Me On the Piste!

I’m a Celebrity… Get Me On the Piste! Warren of Warren Smith Ski Academy is to head the team of coaches to train a group of celebrities to compete in Skier Cross, Slalom and Grand Slam.

To celebrate the Sochi 2014 Winter Games Channel 4 are launching a brand new live prime time show The Alpine Games. Over 10 nights in early 2014 we will see 12 celebrities get to grips with learning how to compete in the most demanding and dangerous winter sports events.

Filming live from the Austrian Alps the 12 well known faces will compete each night in a series of open air alpine challenges. They will be trained by expert coaches and Olympians, including Sir Steve Redgrave in skiing, luge, skeleton, slalom and ski jumping.

Head of Channel 4’s Factual Entertainment, Liam Humphreys comments “This promises to be a hugely entertaining and ambitious event and we can’t wait to take both our contestants and the audience on a white knuckle, vertigo-inducing ride in the New Year.”

The Mirror confirms that TOWIE’s Amy Childs will be swapping fake tan for fake fur and has signed up to The Alpine Games.
