Jazz festival in Kitzbuhel this March

Jazz festival in Kitzbuhel this March Britons looking to enjoy ski holidays in Kitzbuhel this March are in for an added bonus of the musical kind.

According to events guide What's On When , Kitzbuhel is also playing host to its very own jazz festival during this period.

Noting that visitors to Kitzbuhel are likely to be more acquainted with its famous downhill course than its rhythmic melodies, the events guide reveals that the festival will last for ten days and will feature concerts dedicated to jazz, the blues, swing and Dixie.

The ski holiday resort itself notes that there is more to do than simply skiing in Kitzbuhel, with a full calendar of "world-class events" helping to make it a top holiday destination for visitors.

Other top events taking place in Kitzbuhel this spring include the 2008 Cordial Cup which is set to occur in May and the 21st Kitzbuhel Alpine Rally.

The rally is described by the ski resort as an "attractive sporting programme on some of the most beautiful roads in the Alps".
