Lake Louise breaks season snowfall record

Lake Louise breaks season snowfall record With a huge 73 cm in the last five days alone, Banff – Lake Louise has smashed their seasonal snowfall record. The previous record was in winter 2011/12 with 755cm, and this was passed on 6th May with a total of 760cm. Winter isn’t over just yet – the snow keeps coming! Another 5 cm is forecast over the weekend at Lake Louise and 10cm in Sunshine Village.

The Lake Louise Ski resort is into its final week of skiing after extending the season until May 11th, closing day will include the Mountain Funk Jam with retro ski costumes, live bands and a hot dog eating contest.
