Les Arcs improvements planned

Les Arcs improvements planned Ski holidays in Les Arcs are to be given a boost with the announcement that a new chairlift has been planned for the resort.

Due to be constructed next summer, the six-seater chairlift, known as l'Arcabulle, will transport skiers and snowboarders from the existing Plagnettes chairlift up to the top of Bosses drag lift.

As a result, the Bosses lift will be taken out of action, while the start of the new chairlift will be higher than its current location.

In addition to this, those on their ski holidays in Les Arcs will be able to stop off at a new information and safety chalet, to be built at the arrival point of the Transarc gondola.

And anyone planning a Les Arcs ski holiday who is concerned about snow conditions will be pleased to hear plans are afoot to create an improved artificial snow network.

It will now incorporate the bottom of Mont Blanc, the snowpark, the Col du Renard, Plan des Eaux, Marmottes and Sources, ensuring you enjoy your Les Arcs ski holiday to the maximum.
