New for Tignes in winter 2015/16

New for Tignes in winter 2015/16 Winter is off to an early start in France! In just under 2 weeks Tignes will open the Grande Motte glacier for the season. Ski before anyone else from 3rd October and enjoy non-stop skiing until 8th May 2016. 

The rest of the Espace Killy ski area opens on the 28th November and you can buy package ski holidays to Tignes or Val d’Isere from 12th Dec 2015

Tignes is one of our best selling ski resorts, as it is one of the highest resorts in the Alps there is guaranteed skiing throughout the winter and makes it one of the top choices for an early or late season ski holiday. Tignes is linked to Val d'Isere and boasts 300 km of varied pistes.

New Alpine Legends Superpass


Three of the largest ski areas in France have joined togther to offer a new superpass called The Alpine Legends. This new pass will give you access to a total of 1325km of piste across Espace Killy (Tignes & Val d'Isere), Paradiski (La Plagne & Les Arcs) and the 3 Valleys (Meribel, Courchevel & Val Thorens). Bring in 2016 with a bang and celebrate New Year ’s Eve on the highest outdoor dance floor in Europe.

17th Jan 2016 – Red Bull Linecatcher

The backcountry freeride competition come to Tignes in 2016. Expect the world’s best freeskiers tackling untracked slopes, couloirs, cliffs and natural kickers at the Red Bull Linecatcher.

17th Mar 2016 – Gay Pride

Tignes will host it’s first Gay Pride in 2016 to further emphasaise its status as a gay-friendly resort.
