Pick up some freestyle tips at a girls-only event in Meribel

Pick up some freestyle tips at a girls-only event in Meribel Women going on a ski holiday in Meribel later this month may be able to hone their skiing skills at a special event at the resort.

Hosted by the She-Unit, the She Styles Spring Ride takes place at Meribel's Moonpark on March 18th and is strictly a women-only affair.

Skiers attending the event will be able to pick up some useful tips for when they are on the piste and also take part in freestyle skills.

Following the tuition, there will be a mountain barbeque and a demonstration session courtesy of local freestylers, reports Merinet.com.

According to the website: "The aim of the day is to inspire and encourage freestyle skiers and boarders of all ages in a fun, informative and friendly girls-only environment."

On Thursday (March 5th), snow depth on Meribel's lower slopes was 70 centimetres, while temperatures hit a low of -1 degrees Celsius.
