Snow Report | 06 Nov 2017: 80 cm of fresh snow over the weekend

Heavy snow has fallen across the Alps and other mountain regions in Europe over the weekend with highs of 80cm of fresh snow! The highest snowfall reported so far is at Hintertux glacier in Austria and lots more snow is in this week’s forecast.

The first large snowfalls have arrived and the snow has been falling down to 1000m in some parts of the Alps. With 55 days to go until our first departures head to the slopes it’s looking like a good start to the season so far!

Most parts of the Alps have seen between 15-50 cm of fresh snow at altitude. The rest of the week is forecast to stay cool with more significant snowfalls at the end of the week!
