Snow report | 23 Oct 2017: Fresh snow in the Northern Alps

Temperatures have dropped in the Alps over the weekend and significant snowfall has fallen in the Northern regions, including resorts in France, Austria and Switzerland. Up to 50cm of snow has fallen so far with forecasts of up to 80cm expected this week.

The snow line has dropped down to 1400m in Les Menuires and La Plagne – good news that it is getting colder in Europe and hopefully more snow will be on its way... It is only 46 days until our first departures head to the slopes!

Some glacier resorts are already open for skiing, including Hintertux (near Mayrhofen) and Solden in Austria. Take a look at the photos and videos below of the fresh snow this morning.
