Snow report | 29 Oct 2018: Winter is here

Snow report | 29 Oct 2018: Winter is here

It’s been snowing throughout the weekend in many ski areas across France, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Andorra, as well as across the pond in North America. More snow storms are expected throughout the week with forecasts totalling over 100cm of snow in some regions.

Temperatures are expected to rise again briefly towards the end of the week before another dip next week with more snow. Ski resorts will be hard at work over the coming weeks preparing the snow bases to the best that they can be after this huge amount of snowfall. It looks like the snow is here to stay now which is great news for ski resorts with planned opening dates over the next 6 weeks.
