Stars descend on Banff
The stars are gathering for the Fairmont Banff Springs Celebrity Sports Invitational which will see the likes of Alec Baldwin, Marcia Gay Harden and Peter Frampton taking to the slopes.
All of those movie buffs out there that think they would also enjoy a ski holiday in Banff had better get booking soon, as the two-day event begins on January 18th 2007.
"The Fairmont Banff Springs Celebrity Sports Invitational not only provides an excellent opportunity to showcase the hotel but puts the spotlight on Banff as the ideal destination that has something for everyone," said David Roberts, regional vice-president and general manager of The Fairmont Banff Springs.
The event has been organised in a bid to raise money for the Waterkeeper Alliance charity, meaning people who are enjoying a ski holiday in Banff can also do their bit to raise awareness of a good cause.
