Toro Rosso F1 race car hits the slopes in Kitzbuhel

Toro Rosso F1 race car hits the slopes in Kitzbuhel A week ahead of the famous Hahnenkamm ski race, Red Bull are in Kitzbuhel for some extreme pre-season testing today.

Toro Rosso’s Max Verstappen drove the Red Bull show car on a specially designed section of the legendary Streif piste.

The RB7 car was flown onto the mountain by helicopter to the 1600m altitude. Only a few modifications had to be made – the car’s ride height was risen and the tyres were fitted with Pirelli studded tyres and snow chains.

Formula One fans in Austria that braved the freezing temperatures were treated to ice blasted donuts on the Hahnenkamm mountainside during the Kitzbuhel Snow Run.
