Chalet Elodie Reviews

Good points: Toby, our chalet host, was perfect. Lovely food, creatively present and served with a smile. He had an easy way with everyone young and old, whilst being extremely conscientious. The location was great - 20 m from Mottaret Sports ski hire (helpful people) and 100 m from the Perdrix slope down to the centre & ski schools. Less good points: Chalet Elodie was ok, but the common room seating area apart from the actual dining table was too small and uncomfortable. We only had 8 people there our week, so it might be a bit crowded with 11. We never had a fire in the hearth due to lack of fuel arriving. There was also a complete lack of board games, books, etc, which we have found in other chalets. The après ski was not to our liking - it seemed to be centred around alcohol.... The steps down from the road to the Elodie ended in a pile of snow, making the last 8m tricky when carrying skis and stuff.
