Location is amazing, not far from the skiing and nightlife. Pool facilities recently put in is a great addition. The staff were amazing an food varied throughout the week, i'd definitely go back. Tignes is snowsure, surrounded by mountains and fab bars

Chalet Rosset is very well placed near several key lifts and main facilities in Tignes le Lac. There is a huge range of excellent skiing and we had good snow and sunshine. The chalet staff were excellent - always helpful and courteous. The food was excellent - including fresh baked croissant at breakfast and delicious cakes at afternoon tea - almost too much as we were not really hungry for the large and excellent dinner. This is certainly accommodation/resort we would consider booking again.

Tignes Le Lac has something for everyone, from Beginners to Advanced. The slopes can be accessed from the bottom of the street (circa 100m), with a free chair lift to start your exploring. The staff were excellent and, even with the adversity of a burst water pipe, they sorted out replacement boots within a few hours and even had the water back on in next to no time. The food (and free wine!) was very good and the afternoon tea was very welcome after a hard day out on the slopes. The rooms are somewhat basic - then most in France are - but they were clean, comfortable, warm and ours had the luxury of a front facing balcony over-looking the slopes. The Bar was very reasonably priced and always had an offer on most nights, with quizzes etc to keep you occupied. Overall a fantastic week - blessed with wall to wall sunshine. If you're young - or simply young at heart - try a few headonistic hours at Le Folie Douce; Ibiza on the slopes! Only back 2 days and missing it already.

Have Just come back from this hotel after skiing 9th feb till 16 feb. I have travelled all over Europe and also Canada, I can not say enough about the staff at this hotel just that they are excellent, all of them. Warm, friendly and nothing is an effort to do for you. The hotel itself is basic but clean and warm, hot running water and good showers. The food is great and offer two selections for each course for main meal and a full continental breakfast also English. Afternoon tea with cakes and also home made soup.
