Chalet Hotel St.Christoph Reviews

I organise groups of 20 or more every year. St Christoph was ideal. The hotel is well appointed and with excellent facilities including a good pool and sauna. The food was excellent and the staff pleasant and helpful. the hotel is virtually ski in ski out which is almost unheard of for St Anton and it is a lot cheaper than staying in St Anton. It is one lift up to get access to St Anton so this is an ideal place to be based. It's also easy to go to Lech and Zurs which we did on 3 out of our 6 days giving us plenty of variety and interest. The only downside is that there is nothing much in St Christoph itself. However this does not prevent you from indulging in St Anton's night life as the taxis are numerous and reasonable. And the hotel itself is a lovely place to spend an evening. Pretty damn good!!

We've always highly rated the skiing in the Arlberg & thanks to Iglu Ski this year we found a little gem of a hotel managed by a very special 'Klaus' & his team of helpers, in St Christoph. We have never been made so welcomed & well-looked after in any ski accommodation as at this chalet hotel. The only fault with the holiday was that we endured 4 days of snow & 2 days of sun - something which had it been in Klaus's power to change would have been the other way around. We would dearly love to go back again this season for a second chance of 6 days skiing in the sun & another fine dose of pampering by Klaus & his team - a first in 25 years of skiing!!

Chalet Hotel St Christoph (aka Sporthotel St Christoph) was better than expected and turned out to be a great place stay. The rooms and communal areas were better than pictures on the website suggests. Everything had been maintained to a good standard and the pool/spa area was a much appreciated facility. The quality of the food and wine was consistently good, maybe occasionally let down by a dry cake at afternoon tea. The hotel staff were always helpful and welcoming, as were the Inghams reps, who helped the trip to run smoothly. The two bars onsite (hotel and sports bar) were good to have, especially as there's not a lot going on in St Christoph itself in the evening. As a resort, St Christoph worked really well for us. Staying outside of St Anton proved to be of little inconvenience, with the skiing very well connected (ski in/ski out hotel a bonus) and buses and taxis providing transport in the evenings where necessary. Apres ski in St Anton was slightly disappointing vs. high expectations, but the skiing in the wider area was excellent. Overall, relative to other options we considered in St Anton, staying in the Sporthotel in St Christoph worked well and proved to be great value for money for our group. Would happily recommend.
