The hotel is in a fantastic location- right on the slopes in Belle Plagne, which is in an ideal part of the resort- high up, and towards Les Arcs, so it is easy for keen skiers to reach both resorts.
La Plagne is brilliant, with a great variety of runs, we had a joint pass, but only went to Les Arcs one day. We had lovely sunshine, but it hadn't snowed for a week or two- pistes well maintained, and conditions quite good, a bit icy in places.
Hotel was basic, but staff very friendly and helpful. Food was very good, and the hotel was so convenient, we had lunch there a few times. Ski hire and maintenance are available on site.
This hotel caters for young people but there was only one school party that week and the majority were adults. We had a room which could sleep 4, but for 2 was spacious enough and had a good bathroom & balcony- but the walls were a bit thin. The bar area was cosy, and the tables in the bar and dining area encouraged people to mix and chat, and there was a great friendly atmosphere. For the price it was good value for money.
There were shops, including a small supermarket, and bars with live music within 5 mins walk- also in other parts of the resort, accessible during skiing, or by bus. Plenty of restaurants on the pistes, though not cheap.
