Chalet Juliette is on Top Tracks road at the upper edge of Plagne 1800, 45.513247 N, 6.679150 E. To get to the piste you walk along the road for about 350 m, with the final part uphill, and come to a blue piste which will take you to the Plagne 1800 chair. To get to the centre of the village there are some steep steps down from Top Tracks but these tend to be icy and are not recommended in ski boots. Alternatively you can follow the road as it winds its way down the hillside. Rooms have a private shower and wash basin but toilets are in the corridor and usually shared with other rooms. On the ground floor there is a ski/boot room, jacuzzi and sauna. Food was good when I stayed there (March 2009) with wine available all evening.

Our holiday departing on 26th March was very good. Snow through recent weeks had been poor and certainly skiing in the afternoon on lower slopes was so heavy as to be almost dangerous at times. We were extremely fortunate however to have two good nights of snowfall in the week and therefore excellent powder high up in the mornings. The chalet is very compfortable with good size rooms and pleanty of storage space. We were looked after very well by experienced chalet hosts who provided plenty of good food. The only slight negative with the chalet is that it is not possible to ski in or out and 1800 is a lift or two away from the big lifts to take you up high. You need to take a bus to get to any significant nightlife other than two bars in the village.

Fantastic holiday end March/early April. Chalet 5 mins walk into small town (1800) for ski collection, supermarket and few bars. Chalet really nice, lots of space and v good hot-tub. Definitely worth having to ease aching legs! If you're feeling really energetic, it's a 20min walk to plagne centre. They have a few more bars/restaurants to choose from. If walking's too hard, there is a free bus until around middnight a few times an hour. Nearest piste is a 5-10 min walk along small track that takes you to a blue and close to a lift. V convenient. Chalet hosts excellent; lovely people- food really good, plenty of it and lots to drink. Wouldn't hesitate to go back
