Disappointed - 18/03/2019
Overall

Chalet staff were great and location is good for one of the lifts but no where near the main apres ski scene. The chalet communal areas were really poor, student like is probably the best description. Consequently the lounge area was hardly used. It’s not worth the money!!

Amazing Christmas holiday! - 30/01/2019
Overall

We had a lovely week here over Christmas. The chalet host team were all enthusiastic and charming. Food was filling and the wine didn't stop flowing during dinner. The chalet is in a great location - only a 5 minute walk to the lift and easy to get back from aprés at Mooserwirt! I would definitely recommend staying here.

A Week in St Anton - 18/02/2015
Overall

Recently spent a week in St Anton staying at the Chalet Rosemarie the group comprised of myself and 2 sons 18 and 20 . Taking it step by step , the flight out from Gatwick and Transfer was good. no hiccups all pretty straightforward. the Chalet appeared to be recently renovated , accommodation was better than expected with 2 rooms and a Shower /WC all en suite with the possibility of 4 beds. Food was fine and adequate for our needs - it may not have been to everyone's taste but if you're not fussy with your food all the meals were enjoyable - the cook was arguably better at cakes and desserts all of which were excellent. Chalet living does depend on your interaction with other guests , but that's the same in every chalet -our week enjoyed a number of disparate groups from around the UK who all merged and got on well together. Chalet location - ability to ski back to 100 meters and a short 5 minute walk in the morning to the Nasserein Gondola - so in my view pretty well placed . The main town with attendant night life bars / clubs etc was about a 15 minute walk away so again not too bad and taxis always available and inexpensive . Local bars were limited and quite quiet . St Anton itself provided a diverse ski area that did require an amount of work in making it around all the different ski areas - lech ,Zurs, Sonnenkomf etc but was well worth it as some of the skiing was better than on the local slopes . Weather was excellent 4 days of sunshine coupled with reasonably good snow conditions - got lucky by picking the right week, apres-ski at the "Crazy Kangaruh" and "Moosewirt" exceptional but don't ski back in the dark the only down - was the flight back arrangements - had to leave the chalet at 07;35 for a 12:15 flight which gave us the best part of a 3 hour wait at Innsbruck that with a long wait for luggage at gatwick meant that the entire day was spent in getting home.! but ...
