Club Med Cervinia Reviews

Simply Fantastic!. We spent 8-15 December 2019 at CM Cervina: skiing + celebration of my Birthday. Chef de Village (Borris) leads a great team, professional/ energetic /nothing too much trouble/ etc etc The 90min transfer from Turin is a great start and selling point. The resort facilities are great, room a good size, the ski bus shuttle to town+ lifts necessary and works v well. The food is awesome, way beyond CM Buffet, there were so many choices + fresh cooked dishes each night. All of the CM team from the room servicing/kitchens and front of desk, noticeable headliners would include Miriam + Veronica + Yeo. Special mention to , Chef de V in the making?!, Anna Kukuyaka from our check in welcome/ queries during the week and send off, top lady. THANKS TO ALL 'we'll be back'! Have a great season xx

This is the 3rd time we've stayed at the Club in Cervinia and we were pleasantly surprised to find the common areas not as tired-looking as they had been the last time we visited. Some of the rooms however are still in need of attention and not really up more than 3 stars at best. We like the skiing area for its variety across both Italy and Switzerland though you have to take a bus to get to the lift, you can ski back to the hotel even with little snow. Food was ok. Only thing is that I wouldn't recommend their ski/boot hire/service. The quality isn't great and a little overpriced.

The property was basic and tired, however, the room was spacious and kept clean. Staff were very generally friendly, but mainly focussed on families & children's activities, whilst Bar staff were functional and at times surly. Whilst the advert said it was all inclusive, the quality of the drinks was poor and limited and any branded drinks were charged at a premium price. A varied choice of Food, but not always cooked well and at times chaotic in the restaurant. Compared to our visit to St Moritz resort in 2018, this compared very poorly. Generally, we like Club Med, but wouldn't visit this particular property again even though the ski and snow conditions were excellent. The advert for the holiday stated that there were walking trails, which is why we chose Cervinia because 1 of us is a non-skier, however, none of the staff were aware of any walking trails and despite asking several Receptionists no one had any information about them. Even after asking at the Tourist Information Centre, they said that no trails were open at this time of year, so it was very disappointing and limiting for one of us and the advertising very misleading and had we known this in advance we would have chosen a different resort.

The Club Med in Cervinia was a great experience. from the moment we arrived to the moment we left the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. It has a really nice alpine feel. To get into town in the evening it is about a 10 minute walk down the hill and a few minutes longer on the way back, but it is definitely worth the effort as there is a good atmosphere! They are extremely organised getting you to the slopes and back, with numerous mini buses circuiting around for you. The skiing in Cervinia was great, we went early season and despite it just being piste skiing the conditions were fantastic. The slopes are long and wide so plenty of space! I had a great time in Cervinia and would highly recommend the skiing and the Club med.

Another excellent Club Med trip. We travelled out at the beginner of December for a few nights to Cervinia. The staff were so hard working and enthusiastic right from start to finish. The snow conditions were excellent with Cervinia being such high altitude resort and great having the full area lift pass included into Zermatt. You can ski back to the hotel at the end of the day and a quick hotel minibus to the lifts in the morning is very efficient. The meals and evening shows/crazy signs were done to true Club Med style. You will never be hungry with the huge choice of food. A great holiday which I would definitely recommend to all different groups.
