Club Med Peisey-Vallandry Reviews

I have just returned from my first Club Med holiday and it was fantastic. The hotel is spacious with a traditional feel to it. The staff are very friendly and can't do enough for you. The club rooms are large for a ski resort rooms. A main highlight is the Indoor/outdoor pool, steam room and sauna were the perfect place to relax in after a days skiing. The restaurants serve a large selection high quality food, and the drinks flow at the bar untill late. I would definitely recommend Club Med.

This property is perfectly positioned between La Plagne and Les Arcs allowing you to make the most of this extensive ski area. We visited the 2nd week in April and could still ski right into the property (or the cable car if you are coming from La Plagne) The property is beautiful with a cozy chalet feel despite it's extensive size. There is a wonderful large deck area with the best views of the sunset over the mountains and valley below, perfect for an afternoon drink or bbq in the sunshine. The entertainment areas are separate to the main bar and lounge area allowing you to choose whether to watch or simply enjoy a drink undisturbed. There isn't much else going on in the village but the entertainment offered in Club Med offers plenty for those looking to burn the candle at both ends. The spa area is also exceptional with a large indoor/outdoor pool, sauna and steam room, perfect for relaxing after a big day skiing. A great choice for families, groups or couples looking to explore this beautiful area.

Ski in ski out property at the Vanoise Express, so you can go to either Les Arcs or La Plagne for the day. This is a very family friendly hotel with a lot of kids entertainment and ski school. The town, if you can call it that is a collection of apartments and hotels with about 10 shops. In other words it's tiny. We haven't even gone out to explore the nightlife, but my suspicion is that there isn't much. So it is for families and couples looking for a quiet time, focusing on world-class skiing rather than partying all the time.

I am going to be dreaming about the view off the sun terrace for a long time! At Club Med Peisey - Vallandry you get everything and more of what you expect from an all inclusive Club Med ski holiday. You literally have everything you need here for your week in the mountains. The breakfast buffet is huge with so much choice. For lunch you can either come back here or go for lunch at Club Med Arcs Extreme (in Arc 2000) or even pop into Club Med Aime in La Plagne! Once you are back at the hotel after skiing, the bar is open with afternoon snacks and entertainment (small live band) then a few hours later they are pre dinner snack and drinks available before heading up to dinner. You definitely won't go hungry here! There is a huge in and outside pool and multiple saunas and stream rooms. Don't forget to book yourself into the specialty restaurant one night for a Savoyard special at no extra charge! (we had fondue) The hotel is next to the Vanoise Express giving you the best access between Les Arcs and La Plagne. We spent 3 days at each and there were still areas we didn't make it to.

This hotel definitely has the wow factor! Being one of Club Med's top properties it has an excellent location in Peisey-Vallandry being ski in/ski out (even at the end of the season), the facilities are great with an indoor/outdoor pool and excellent food to never let you go hungry. The rooms are really spacious and lots of family rooms available. It's a real kid friendly hotel with all the kids clubs to keep the children occupied. The staff are great with nothing ever being too much hard work and always put on great shows in the evening. In terms of the resort, there isn't a huge amount of nightlife but within the hotel there is always plenty of booze and entertainment. Crazy signs each night if you fancy a little dance! A very enjoyable, relaxing stay and great value with it being an all-inclusive package holiday.
