Go somewhere else (and not with Club Med) - 26/02/2019

Good: - Room quality, food quality Medium: - Ski area ok but too far for smaller children to get over to Sauze D'Oulx and Sestriere side quite limited (and way too busy on the Saturday free-ski day with locals turning up en masse) - Had to search out the handful of useful staff - All meals are self-service / buffet style Bad: - Arrival day a nightmare with > 3 hours' queueing for lift passes, check in, skis/boots, etc - Kids Club dreadful (all 10 children in our group hated it / reported no activities undertaken)

The best Club Med - 13/02/2019
Overall

We were a party of 12 and had a great stay, the weather and snow were excellent. We were in a superior room which was huge. The hotel and food were very very good, the best we’ve stayed at. Accommodation consists of blocks of chalets throughout the grounds, very pretty. Huge bathrooms. Very clean and comfortable. The only downside is that you can hear your noisy upstairs neighbors very easily, suggest you ask for upstairs accommodation. Highly recommended resort. Skiing great, hotel 60 man gondola takes you right up onto The Milky Way ski area which is huge, and a nice blue run back to resort. Perfect!

A New Club Med experience - 27/04/2017
Overall

Club Med Pragelato is unlike any other Club Med you would have been to all for the right reasons. The accommodation is all chalet style which gives a more homely feel to the holiday. The chalets are equipped with modern furnishings are are very spacious. The Spa area is great with sauna & a large pool. This Club Med even has its on cable car to whisk you up to the 400km of the Milky way Ski area this only take s a few minutes but you can ski back to the Club Med. There is a ski lift opposite the Club Med which takes you to a separate area that does not get piste bashed for those keen to try off piste. If you have a family of three or four the family rooms are great on two separate floors with one bathroom & two toilets one on each floor, plus a fridge & coffee machine. Pragelato is set in a quiet location it is well worth taking the short walk to the old village, Club Med also offers hikes during the week & walking trips just need to sign up to these at the start of the week. There are a number of ski activities you can sign up to at extra cost as snowmobiling & trying an outing with huskies weather permitting. The Piste area includes Sauze Claviere in Italy, Mongenevre in France & will suit all levels of skiers. Club Med has a couple of mountain restaurants to enjoy so you do not have to return to the Club Med for lunch & you can enjoy the mountain longer. At the end of the day the area outside Club Med is a sun trap & a great way to wind down with a drink & some Club Med snacks. If you are a regular Club Med skier this is one of my favourites. I am sure it will be one of yours.
