Fairmont Chateau Whistler Hotel Reviews

The Fairmont Chateau at Whistler is one of the most beautiful hotels I’ve ever stayed in and the perfect treat for a luxury ski holiday in Canada. The location doesn’t get any better as you are right on the slopes and it’s the best spot to get first chair at Wizard Chairlift. At the end of the day, the hotel staff are waiting at the bottom of the slopes to take back your skis or snowboard back to the in-house ski rental shop for overnight storage. The outdoor heated pools and hot tubs are a dream and you receive dressing grown and slippers in your room to wear down to the pool area. The interior of the hotel is huge and there are always plenty of staff around to assist you if needed, whether at breakfast, at the rental shop or at the bar. I’d recommend a mountain facing room as waking up to the spectacular views of Blackcomb mountain is breathtaking and the best way to start your day. One of Whistler’s iconic bars, Merlins, is just 100m from the hotel and you can walk to Whistler village in about 10 mins.

This hotel has it all!!! Services, Quality, Family value for the 4/5* hotel, Excelent fool and best location in Whistler! Located right next to the Wizered expredd on Blackcomb mountain you have schofer services with your ski to the front door, few amazing heated pools and spa so everyone in the large hotel can get in after a long day on the mountain with pool side drink services. Rooms are great with 2 x queen beds or 1 large king housekepping great. Worth all the extra pennies

This has to be the best place we have ever stayed in with 3 children. We used Fairmont gold on our last visit and got to sample life in a beautiful suite with fantastic service. Everything about this hotel is superb, visited many times and can't wait to go back. Only negative is that it can be expensive....but so worth it!!

Located right at the bottom of the Wizard lift in Blackcomb this ski-in ski-out property is one of the best located in resort. The Mallard Lounge is a cosy apres ski bar with open log fire and the Wildflower Restaurant is a regular venue of private functions. Sign up for the Presidential Club to receive a personalised service throughout your stay. The Gold floor has it's own reception and lounge for breakfast or just to chill out, well worth paying the upgrade for it.
