Hotel Le Curling Reviews

We went for a cheap last minute end of season trip and the Curling was exactly what we were looking for. It is located in the main square of Val Claret with ski hire shops and bars all within 50m. The nearest lift Tufs is less than 30seconds walk away so it is basically ski in ski out ... The weather was great and the snow was good so I really enjoyed this end of season trip. If you are looking for good value the curling hits the nail on the head. The staff are very friendly too.

The Curling is dead centre in Val Claret; lifts, bars and restaurants are all well within stumbling distance. More than that, I was surprised all round by the chalet, it looks basic (and is), but the rooms are spacious, beds are amazing and quality of the food is great. The value on offer is superb, if you're thinking of Tignes, the Curling is a great way to do.

We stayed as a large group of friends and had a great time. The location of the hotel is fantastic with ski shop, bars and restaurants and the slopes all within a very short walk from the door. One of the best located hotels i have been to. The hotel offers great value for money, it does not offer a whole host of extras but the rooms and food a great. Staff were very attentive and helpful.

The hotel is in an amazing location - the lifts, hire shops and bars are all within a 2 minute walk making it perfect for groups. The accommodation is a little basic but spacious, clean and comfortable - every room has its own balcony and there are some lovely views from the front of the hotel. The food was a bit hit and miss but the staff were lovely :)

We stayed in this chalet in April and although I've been to Tignes before I didn't quite realise how conveniently located this chalet is. It is seconds away from all the restaurants and apres places. One of the ski rental shops is opposite the boot room. The staff were nice and the food was good for the standard of the chalet. Breakfast and afternoon tea were always fresh and offered a good selection. We had canapes and aperitif every evening before dinner. You could choose out of 3 options at breakfast. The cheeseboard at the end is great and the wine doesn't stop until the very end (unlike in other chalets I've been to). The rooms are large, en-suite and have balconies. I was very positively surprised by the size of the rooms. Overall it is a great value option for a relatively expensive resort. I'd go back without hesitation.
