Stylish Hotel in a Stylish resort - 17/12/2010
Overall

This place is slick...all exposed cement pillars balanced with plenty of light wood and dark slate. It's a real stand out design wise, in a town that has it's share of warm, traditional alpine hotels. The rooms are amongst the largest in Formigal, plus there's a big indoor/outdoor pool attached to the extensive spa area (even guests pay a admission fee for this level of quality). For all the style and quality, this hotel is about the furthest you can get from the lifts at Sextas, the Formigal lifts-base. But don't let that put you off - there's a free minibus shuttle which runs from 9am-5pm to and from the lifts and takes literally five minutes, then until 11pm for those wishing to explore the cool little bars or one of the vilage's excellent restaurants.
