The Palas! - 13/03/2015
Overall

This is ideally located for Diable ski lift and plenty of restaurants/bars without being right in the centre of town. The staff are welcoming and friendly, the rooms comfortable (a little on the warm side) and super clean, breakfast was even served at 4.00am on the day of departure. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Serra Palas - 07/11/2019
Overall

Excellent - accommodation large and clean, beds comfy. Separate toilet, large bathroom and water piping hot. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast ample (continental). Separate large ski/board locker. Small bar in the hotel but bars and restaurants within 50 metres of hotel, yet still a really quiet part of town so a good nights sleep. Easy walk (250 / 300 meters) to one f the best lifts (Diable). If we return to L2A I would definitely stay here again. A bargain at the price

Great Hotel, busy resort - 02/03/2020
Overall

Stayed at Les Deux Alpes for a week with the family the last week in Feb thinking we had missed the peak period. We had missed the UK half term and part of the French half term but not factored in the Belgium half term so as a consequence the resort was very busy and queues for up to an hour to catch the main gondola or chairlift lift from the resort. We stayed half board at the Sarre- Palas hotel which is a 2* but as evidenced by the tripadvisors reviews so much better than that. it is immaculate good size rooms excellent breakfast and within easy walking distance of the diable lift. The only downside was that we had not appreciated it is not set up for evening meals which are provided by a restaurant opposite, which whilst the food was fine in terms of quality but small quantities which after you have been on the ski slope is not great, there was no choice and you had to eat at either 7 or 9.30. In hindsight it would have been better to stick with B&B and eat out
