Hotel Tirolerhof Reviews

I have been going to this hotel for over 20.years and to coin a phrase, it ticks all the boxes that are there to be ticked. It has a good location, good food, comfort, outstanding views and friendly helpful staff. I hope not too many people read this as they might want to go!

This is my third time in the resort, the whole atmosphere and surrounding area is really good, home from home, I would recommend this holiday every time.

My family had a great first ski holiday experience here in feb 2022. The family who run the hotel are very friendly and hospitable. We hope to return. Apres ski was limited due to covid rules but also the bar at the bottom of the slope wasn’t open 2 days of our hols which was a shame.

My friend and I recently stayed in Oberau at the Hotel Tirolerhof and had a wonderful time. The skiing in the area was great and we were lucky to have plenty of snow throughout the week. The hotel itself was very central in the Oberau area and right next to an easy blue (very useful for getting your ski legs back). We stayed half board, the breakfasts were tasty and there was always plenty on bacon and scrambled eggs in the mornings and the 4 course dinners in the evenings were delicious. One minor criticism would be that there is not much to do in Oberau in the evenings (other than the organised fun from the tour provider which wasn't always our cup of tea) and if you did want to venture to Niederau which is a tad livelier if was impossible to get a taxi that wouldn't cost the earth and the night bus only runs from Thursday to Friday. Other than that everything was super and I would recommend staying in this area.
