Self Catering was perfect for us this time. Car Park underground with a lift to your apartment. Then jump in the car, 2 minutes you're in the Free car park in St Gervais....... Loads of skiing, although not that high if you catch it at the right time it's perfect... Nothing too steep, food on the mountain and in town is amazing and great value for money. The apartment was very spacious, great value for what we paid, the only downside was the sofa wasn't comfy, but was manageable. We knew we were on a no-frills holiday but this place was as good accommodation than a fancy chalet in a mainstream resort.
