The Boardroom is a friendly bar for those looking to practice there French and mingle with the un-pretentious locals. Make the effort and free drinks could be on the cards!

Les Deux Alpes is a great snowsure resort for those looking for great skiing and lively apres ski without paying the premium prices of other more chic French resorts. There are lots of great bars and restaurents that wont hurt your pockets. Its also a great destination for familes looking for a resort with a short transfer.

I only returned from Les Deux Alps last week and had a really great time. Considering the snow covering throughout the Alps this season I was a little apprehensive about skiing in April but the snow and resort did not disappoint. The Glacier's pistes had been kept in great condition along with many of the slopes just below. If you want something a bit more exciting there a big snow park with something for beginners to experts....the best half pipe I've ridden for a long time! You can also finish your day off on the mountain with a few beers at Pano bar where the après ski kicks off. So much so that someone dived from a huge balcony to the crowd below...brilliant! There are plenty more bars and clubs in town with Polar bar and Smithy's standing out as great places to go. For something more relaxed there is a big swimming pool and fitness centre along with ice skating rink and cafes. A resort not to be missed!

Hi we stayed at the Hotel Aarlborg in January. It had snowed the week before we arrives so the pistes were not in bad condition , the weather at the start of the week was warm so the snow got soft in the afternoon but by the end of the week it was cold -20. I would say that it is a good resort for all standards but most of the slopes are steep so some beginners could be caught out, the greens in resort are really good for beginners with lots of open space and some free drag lifts if you just want to try skiing for the first time. The only other down side is that you can only ski back to resort on three blacks runs or a sketchy green run. All in all we had a good time.

Brilliant place. I’ve been there for 3 years in a row. The mountain is reverse gradient, so beginners can get to the peak and have lots of runs and come back down on the gondola.
