Les Gets was great! A group of 8 of us, aged 25ish, stayed at the Chalet Johmarons with our excellent host Will. We were all boarders and the skill level varied from beginners to experts, but Les Gets accommodated us all. Excellent base for exploring the Portes du Soleil region, we all managed (even the beginners) to board from Avoriaz through Morzine back to Les Gets which was a great experience. Only downside is that there’s not much to do in the village in the evenings, but if there’s a group of you you'll have a great time in the chalets. Also good romantic spot, as I got engaged on Pointe de Chery!!

Lovely location, within easy reach of the centre. Excellent chalet with a hot tub (this could do with being bigger though!) 5 families into a hot tub for 4 people?! Would stay there again.

Family friendly resort - 29/09/2016
Overall

Les Gets is the perfect resort for those looking for a family friendly holiday. With the majority of skiing in a bowl, blue, red and black runs are all side by side, so those of differing abilities can choose their runs, and meet safely at the bottom by the lifts without the worry of losing anyone! Top tip - Mont Chery is a little-visited gem, with long sweeping runs with no-one to be seen. Although known to be a quieter resorts, there is still plenty of nightlife, with Bar Bush and the Irish Pub, along with the infamous Igloo nightclub.

Great week - 06/03/2019
Overall

Lovely compact town with a pleasant relaxing ambience, with enough local intermediate skiing to last the week. Could ideally do with being 500 meters higher, but snow cover remained good to town level, though softening in the afternoons, as a result of the unusually mild weather throughput the alps. Good choice of on and off slope eateries. Quiet apres ski, though we liked the Irish Bar (own brewery and Brewdog beer available!).
