Had a great wee skiing in Soll, the hotel was fantastic great food breakfast was buffet with good choose, evening meal was soup ,salad from the buffet followed by lovely home cooked meal. We could not fault the food, hotel was clean and comfortable and staff very friendly . We hope to go back next year.

The perfect blend of Austrian charm and Gluhewine fueled apres entertainment. Great ski area with enough runs to fill a week and then some. I love skiing the Westendorf area with its cruisy runs and great quality restaurants All South facing so loads of sun. Don't let the night life reputation put you off its great fun but not too loud to affect the holiday makers wishing to relax. Top tip. Book the Dorfstuben restaurant early for chalet hosts night off. Go see the Live band Frog on the Tyne who do at least 4 gigs a week in resort. But most importantly invest in the ski garage at the bottom of the main gondola so there is never a need to carry your skis to the lift everyday. Just have a leisurely saunter in your comfy shoes.

Soll is a great resort for anyone looking for a good value, varied ski holiday. The Ski Welt is extensive enough that you can almost ski a different area each day, expert skiers may not be that challenged though. Be aware when exploring - ski buses may be required, as it is quite possible to be stuck on the wrong side of the mountain when the lifts stop. Après ski is fun and varied, with quiet refined bars such as Bella Vista, or the full throttle Whisky Muhle where Jagermeister flows like wine. For ski hire, the chaps at Snow & Fun are really efficient and will look after you with excellent equipment.

Nightlife is goood "whiskey muhle" the place for late night fun, Westendorf has a very good boardpark, massive rails and jumps, very few black runs, but they are as steep as any french runs, some good off piste in the trees, and best of all the price !! very very good value.
