Skiing in Andorra La Vella
Andorra La Vella is halfway between the Grandvalira and Vallnord ski areas which makes it a great base if you are wanting to explore both areas. There are a variety of runs right at your fingertips.
The nearest ski resort to Andorra La Vella is Pas de la Casa which interlinks with Soldeu and Encamp in the Grandvalira ski area. But Andorra La Vella is also close to the Vallnord resorts of Pal, Arinsal and Ordino-Arcalis.

Located right in the middle of the Pyrenees mountains, the ski areas receive great snow conditions with an average of 5.5 metres per season and they have plenty of snowmaking facilities to ensure snow coverage is at its optimum.

Andorra La Vella also has historic buildings to explore such as the Casa de la Vall which served as Andorra’s parliament building from 1702 until 2011 and Andorra’s oldest Romanesque church the Església de Santa Coloma.
