Hotel Del Clos Reviews
Best ski hotel I’ve stayed in and for the price, it represents outstanding value. Rooms-en-suite & more spacious than usual. Spotlessly clean every day. Staff-plentiful and always with a smile; you’re made to feel welcome. Bar-nice and cosy with reasonably priced drinks, especially at happy hour. Entertainment (live music, disco bingo) provided some nights & a tv to watch too. There was a lounge opposite too which you could take drinks if you preferred somewhere quieter. Afternoon tea- varied and tasty. Just what was needed after a day on the slopes. Meals- excellent choice & quality at both breakfast & evening meal. Service from restaurant staff was excellent too. Location. It’s less than 5 mins walk to the slopes. Probably about 300m to the chair lift. Lockers are provided free of charge at the hotel but if you don’t fancy the walk you can hire one from Nordic by the chairlift for €42 for the week. Didn’t use the kids club but all the children in the hotel looked like they were having a ball & no trouble as a result. parents I spoke to really valued this service. Ski area is under rated. It’s my 3rd time to grandvalira (pas & soldeu previously) & I still find new runs. All in all fantastic ski hotel which I can see myself returning to like many of the guests we encountered this year.

Had a wonderful holiday in El Tarter staying at Hotel Del Clos. Staff were all friendly and on hand to cater to your needs. Afternoon tea after being on the slopes was brilliant and bar prices were extremely reasonable for drinks. Unfortunately, whilst skiing I got an injury to my calf and after going to the Doctors ended up with a prescription and the nearest pharmacy was in Soldeu. The manger at the Hotel Del Clos kindly offered to take me to collect this in his own car which was a huge help and didn’t want anything for this and said he takes guests on a regular occasion when in need! Great stay, lovely warm place and would 100% recommend.
