Encamp in the very first ski resort in Grandvalira as you approach from Spain and the capital, Andorra la Vella. Soldeu is located 20 minutes by road and all ski resorts in Grandvalira are linked by ski lifts allowing easy access between all the ski villages.
The village is linked to the ski area via Funicamp, a 6km long gondola lift that takes skiers and snowboarders up to Solanelles (between Grau Roig and Soldeu) in 15 mins.

Encamp ski resort
The resort is rather low key and relaxed compared to other Andorran resorts- making it ideal for families and those wanting a bit of peace and quiet. For larger and livelier ski resorts choose Soldeu or Pas de la Casa.
Snow conditions in Encamp
The ski season in Grandvalira lasts from December to April. Encamp’s village is much lower than its neighbouring resorts so even though there may not be snow in the village, there is still easy access up to the higher ski area via the Funicamp gondola.
Skiing in Encamp
The skiing is quite comprehensive, especially when it is combined with El Tarter, Soldeu and the rest of the ski domain. It offers something for all abilities, although intermediates and beginners are probably best catered for. Snowboarding is particularly popular and there is a large snowpark located in El Tarter.
