The inviting smartHotel lies directly in the centre of Dorfgastein, only about 500 m away from the Dorfgastein lift. A practice lift can be found about 300 m away. The ski bus (possibly for a fee) stops approx. 10 m away from the building. The nearest cross-country trail can be reached after about 500 m. The modern hotel, which was reopened in Dec. 2015, is comprised of a main building and a side building (approx. 100 m apart from each other) and offers a reception, welcome hall, lounge, lift, Wi-Fi, restaurant, hotel bar as well as a ski and snowboard storage room. The relaxation area with sauna, Finnish sauna, infrared cabin, steam bath and quiet room can be used for free. Beauty treatments can be enjoyed for a fee (per request). The Gastein Card (incl.) grants you access to various reductions on admission to places such as the Felsentherme Bad Gastein and the Alpentherme Gastein, for public transportation in Dorfgastein, Bad Gastein and Bad Hofgastein, guided snowshoe hikes in Dorfgastein, ice skating in the Bad Hofgastein Ice Arena, as well as with other partners (services and validity subject to change, as per info in resort). In resort, you will receive a 5% discount for Restaurant Winkler in Bad Hofgastein, as well as a €10 discount (cannot be exchanged for cash) for massage and therapy treatments at "Kur- & Sporthotel Winkler" in Bad Hofgastein (subject to change, limited opening hours, prior reservation required, only upon display of voucher, received with your travel documents). For a fee, childcare services can also be arranged (as per info in resort). Free parking spaces may also be used (upon availability). Rooms The brightly lit rooms are comprised of a bath or shower/wc, cable TV (flat screen), towel dryer, safe, Wi-Fi, as well as a hair dryer and balcony. You may be accommodated in the main or the side building. Board The already included half board consists of a daily breakfast buffet with cold and warm dishes, muesli corner and diverse juices (7:30 - 10:00) as well as a 3-course evening meal of your choice (19:00 - 20:00). Christmas and New Year's Eve meals are also included. A children's menu is also available. 1x per week punch or mulled wine is included for you in Restaurant Eggerwirt (approx. 50 m away).
