Snow conditions in Gerlitzen

Geriltzen has 52km of skiable slopes in all directions from November to April, while snowmaking facilities are also used in order to guarantee that visitors are not left disappointed. This includes 40km of pistes and 12km of ski routes. Based at an altitude of 1,911m, skiers can take advantage of delightful snow conditions coupled with a sunny climate to create some truly picturesque photos to make friends jealous back home.

Skiing in Gerlitzen

Geriltzen has more than 20 downhill runs of varying distance, ranging from the 4,000-metre Klosterle run to shorter stretches of land such as the 400m Worthersee. The majority of the options here are ideal for either beginners or intermediates, but there are a few more challenging courses including the Pacheiner and Gegendtaler.

With a number of excellent hotels and attractions, the resort is perfect for families. Young ones will be more than pleased by Kids Land and Snow Bear Land, where they can develop their skills with trainers from the Gerlitzen Ski and Snowboard School and hang out with the area’s entertaining mascot Bino Bear.
