Hotel Obermair Reviews
Have just returned from a week at the Hotel Obermair. Welcoming and helpful staff plus a hostess who looks great in traditional Tyrolean outfits at breakfast all add to this excellent properties benefits. The hotel was spotlessly clean with spacious well furnished rooms (our room had a balcony and huge bathroom with a bath and separate shower) and a real surprise was the huge feather bed pillows and feather and down duvets. Breakfast was consistently great with an excellent choice of cold meats, cheese and breads aswell as two hot choices (scrambled egg, bacon, fish etc) each morning. Following a long day skiing retreating to the basement spa was a godsend. Clearly recently installed the steam room and two sauna rooms (one at 90 degrees!) plus a swimming pool (pictured) ease the heat back into your body. We did not take the half board option preferring to choose a different restaurant each evening but I have no doubt this would have been excellent had we done so as the Hotel Rose looked fabulous also. Our only complaint (if you can call it that) was that the rooms were so cosy warm we had to sleep with our balcony door ajar every night!

I stayed in this hotel last year and thought it was fab. Perfect location, ski bus stops at this hotel first so you know you will get on it. I noticed the further up you went people were having to wait for the next bus. Garage just next door to hotel, no noise from this at all even though our bedroom window looked onto it. Walking distance to all shops. Staff very friendly and helpfull. I have booked to go back this year and stay at this very hotel. Highly recommend! reason for my 9/10 my bed base was missing a slat so i slept in a hole all week, still comfy.
